As if our collective crushes on John Oliver couldn't grow any more ardent, the HBO host spent 15 minutes of his show on Sunday talking about the discrimination that those in the LGBT community face because of the religious beliefs of business owners and employers.
RFRA? Anti-discrimination laws? Be still, our beating hearts.
In this clip, John Oliver doesn't just speak our language (his piece about televangelists and the IRS was the talk of the office last week), he is able to convey in clear terms just how ridiculous it is in the 21st century that anyone can be turned away from a doctor's office or fired for his/her job because of someone else's religious beliefs.
