A Christian former Ford Motor Co. employee is suing the car manufacture after being fired last year for leaving an anti-gay message on the employee website. He is now claiming that his "federally protected rights" and religious liberty were violated.
From Logo's NewNowNext blog:
"In a suit filed Friday, Thomas Banks says he was terminated last year after writing that Ford’s LGBT affinity group, GLOBE, was “an assault on Christians” and that homosexuality “leads to death,” in the comment section of an article on the Ford company Intranet site."
Here's where you have to ask yourself where the mantle of religious liberty covers deliberately insulting a whole class of people on a semi-public forum? We think you probably know the answer to that.
